NADOHE Launches Three Strategic Partnerships to Expand Leadership Support for Members

The National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education (NADOHE) has launched three new partnerships to provide members with expanded leadership development, coaching, and organizational support as higher education leaders navigate an increasingly complex environment.

The partnerships with the Center for Strategic Leadership and Social Innovation (CSLSI), Center for Liberated Leadership, and Evolve Institute for Higher Education Leadership were developed in response to feedback from NADOHE members about the resources and support they need in this moment.

Over the past several months, members have emphasized the need for practical guidance, actionable tools, opportunities to learn from emerging practices in the field, and sustained professional support. The three collaborations expand NADOHE’s member offerings across three areas: Coaching, Curriculum, and Capacity.

Center for Strategic Leadership and Social Innovation

NADOHE’s partnership with the Center for Strategic Leadership and Social Innovation will bring organizational strategy and capacity-building programming to members through a regional workshop tour.

NADOHE members will also receive access to CSLSI programs at Preferred Training Partner rates.

The collaboration is designed to provide leaders and institutions with practical tools for strengthening organizational strategy and building capacity to respond to evolving challenges.

Center for Liberated Leadership

Through its partnership with the Center for Liberated Leadership, NADOHE has introduced LEAD Coaching Circles, a leadership development initiative designed to support higher education professionals at different stages of their careers.

Led by trauma-informed and equity-centered executive coaches from the Center for Liberated Leadership and Chauhan Coaching & Consulting, the confidential, peer-based circles give participants opportunities to address current leadership challenges, strengthen their capacity, and learn alongside colleagues.

Members can select from four coaching experiences:

Grant subsidies are available for eligible NADOHE members experiencing job loss who participate in LEAD Horizon. Applications for LEAD Coaching Circles are now open.

Evolve Institute for Higher Education Leadership

NADOHE has also partnered with the Evolve Institute for Higher Education Leadership to provide members with structured leadership development opportunities tailored to different stages of their careers.

Evolve offers four three-month leadership journeys:

  • Base Camp, for directors and associate directors leading operations, launches in October 2026;
  • Elevate, for leaders at all levels with equity in their portfolios, launches in January 2027;
  • Ascent, for AVPs and deans leading strategically, launches in April 2027; and
  • Summit, for presidents, vice presidents, and provosts leading vision and culture, launches in July 2027.

Each program includes a curated curriculum of short, on-demand video modules as well as individual and group coaching. NADOHE members receive a $500 discount toward any Evolve leadership coaching journey

The three partnerships reflect NADOHE’s continued commitment to strengthening the resources available to members and creating opportunities for higher education leaders to learn from one another, develop practical strategies, and receive support as they lead through change.
