National Responsiveness and Engagement Tour

NADOHE is partnering with the Center for Strategic Leadership and Social Innovation (CSLSI), led by Dr. Damon A. Williams, to launch the National Responsiveness and Engagement Tour– a three-hour virtual leadership intensive designed to help institutions stay grounded in their mission while responding to the distinct legal, political, governance, financial, and organizational conditions shaping their region.

The Tour consists of five regionally customized leadership experiences grounded in the CSLSI Strategic Response Data System and organized through the Strategic Responsiveness and Engagement Model™, a framework for considering what to preserve, change, build, communicate, and measure while advancing an institution's Strategic North Star: the intersection of mission, values, priorities, and outcomes.

Each session offers a structured approach to change management. Attendees will dive deep into proprietary frameworks to:

Examine the National Data Story: Look objectively at the overarching data trends impacting organizational landscapes across the country.

Understand Your Regional Context: Analyze how institutional response patterns differ across regions, giving you clarity on the specific legal, political, governance, and financial forces shaping your area.

Assess Your Own Institutional Context: Evaluate your organization’s current response approach, engagement model, and primary areas of opportunity.

The Power of Team Alignment

Because institutional transformation requires perspectives from across campus, we encourage participants to attend with a three- to five-person Institutional Transformation Team. (Note: Individuals attending independently will be intentionally placed in Regional Best-Practice Teams, creating an opportunity to learn alongside peers from across the region.)
