Recommended Transportation:

Trolley and Trains: The hotel is across the street from historic Santa Fe Depot, offering Amtrak Pacific Surfliner service, NCTD Coaster service, Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) bus service and the MTS Trolley Sycuan Green Line. The depot is also one block from America Plaza, offering MTS Trolley UC San Diego Blue Line and Silver Line service. 

From the Airport:

  • From San Diego International Airport: 1.9 miles, or a 6 minute car-ride. ($12 - $15 for Cab, Lyft, Uber, or other ride-share service.)
  • From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX): 124 miles take I-105 E from World Way and CA-1 S/S Sepulveda Blvd. Follow I-405 S, CA-73 S and I-5 S to Front St in San Diego. Take exit 17 from I-5 S. follow Front St, W Ash St and Pacific Hwy to Bayfront Ct.
  • By Public Transportation: Board MTS Bus/Trolly Route 992 right outside baggage claims at terminals 1 and 2. Get off at Broadway & North Harbor Drive.

Parking:

  • InterContinental San Diego offers secured garage self-parking for $39 per night. Valet parking is $52 per night. For locals dining at Vistal, two hours of complimentary valet parking are included. ADA-accessible and electric-car-charge parking are available.

While Downtown:
  • Ride-share platforms, such as Uber and Lyft, are readily available.
  • Metropolitan Transit System - a free trolly that runs throughout downtown San Diego, with a stop (Broadway & North Harbor Drive) located outside the hotel. More information can be found here
